Day 21 – Favorite book from your childhood
So so good. I was recently trolling the library looking for books for my son and remembered this fondly. They keep it in the YA section now. He’s still a few years away… but if you haven’t read it I highly recommend it.
Madeleine L’Engle was a female writing Sci fi fantasy in the 60’s. It took her years to get this published. Not only because it was too different but also it has a female protagonist which according to the publishers just wasn’t done.

Day 19 – Favorite book turned into a movie
Although Colin Firth in the BBC edition is a much better Mr Darcy, I could watch this movie every day and never get tired of it. The book is a little difficult in the beginning but worth the effort.
